Coda is officially a Great Place to Work® in Indonesia and Thailand, again! This marks our second consecutive win in Indonesia and third in Thailand, a reflection of our dedication to creating environments where our people feel empowered, supported, and valued every day.
Wherever we work, we aim to build something special together. Here’s our (not-so-secret) sauce:
1. Time Well Spent: A Work-Life Balance That Works
One of the top highlights from our teams is how empowered they feel to take time off when needed. A healthy work-life balance fuels well-being and productivity, and we’re proud to support that.
Coda offers annual leave, family care leave, and volunteer leave, along with flexible benefits to give our employees time and space to recharge and care for their loved ones. Our hybrid work model in both Indonesia and Thailand allows flexibility for people to work from home or a local office to manage their time and commitments. Our teams in Indonesia and Thailand have embraced these policies, improving their overall job satisfaction.
2. Safety First, Always: Prioritizing Wellbeing
We take safety seriously, both physically and mentally. Our workspaces are designed for collaboration, with social hubs for dining and building connections, height-adjustable desks, and meeting rooms to facilitate productivity.
3. Fairness Across Age and Gender: Building a Truly Inclusive Culture
Our teams feel valued regardless of age or gender, which speaks volumes about the inclusive culture we’re building. We believe diverse teams are stronger, and we put systems in place to ensure everyone has equal opportunities to thrive.
We offer transparent career progression and mentorship programs. Beyond that, we put in the work and provide workshops on managing unconscious bias and professional boundaries to ensure that Coda is truly a great workplace for all.
4. Keeping It Real: Transparency to Foster Trust
At Coda, open dialogue is key. Everyone’s voices should be heard, and we keep transparency and open communication as non-negotiables in fostering organizational-wide trust and collaboration.
We prioritize two-way conversations. For example, in addition to monthly all-hands meetings, our Singapore leadership regularly visits our Thailand and Indonesia offices for local town hall sessions and team engagement activities.
We also run biannual engagement surveys to ensure all Codans feel heard, helping us continuously improve our workplace culture with their feedback. This consistent communication has been vital in maintaining trust and alignment with our teams.
Looking Ahead: Building on Our Momentum
All this is just the beginning for us. We’re all-in on continuous improvement, focusing on initiatives for our people’s well-being, fostering inclusion, and providing growth opportunities for all Codans.
Big thanks to our awesome teams in Indonesia, Thailand, and around the world for making Coda a Great Place to Work. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together and can’t wait to see what’s next—the best is yet to come!
